RFTCC-Wingbiter Friday 4/24
6 pm from New Hartford center. Back by popular demand, it's Satan's Elbow
define "popular" and while you are at it.... define "demand"...
I should be there!
Hmmm....Our church is having a pasta dinner at Sundown that night. I might stop off at that and meet you back at Chatterley's afterwards. Anyone else can attend too, even non-Catholics. ISIS members might not feel comfortable though.
I just realized the choices I have to make...ride with the Wingbiters and climb up Satan's Elbow or attend the church pasta dinner. LOL.
And the new ski trail at Sundown is named Satan's Stairway. Maybe I'll ride and just put holy water in my bike bottle.
As I'll be here this Friday, I was planning on riding - now I'm not so sure. I am almost positive that I will drop dead if I attempt Satans Elbow at this early in the year. Are you sure you want to climb it ?
Should have chosen East Hill or Morgan instead of the (easy) North Mtn. Road, Tinkerbell.
Tinkerbell my ass.

It's a mini Hillfest...
Ratlum Road, Satan's Elbow, North Mountain, Sunrise Drive, then back via Steele Road northbound
How about the church pasta dinner? :)
i dont remember any discussion of satan's elbow last wook and i dont drink.
and for "Tinkerbell " all you have to do is beat Greg were not holding the bar too high. suck it up and ride. it could be worse greg would make you ride a city bike up old north or satan's elbow..
Greeeeeat route Greg, thanks for posting it. I plan on being there this wook.
"Tinkerbell"?
"All you have to do is beat Greg"?
"We're not holding the bar too high"?
Keep talking, guys, and remember who plans these routes.
I'm secretly hoping I have to work late tomorrow. Not such a secret anymore. Otherwise I'm in.
Yes, I thought I heard about riding the Res loop. Greg, are you sure it wasn' t a survey from last fall indicating a demand for Satan's elbow.... Actually, I doubt there was a "popular demand" for it even then, but I'm new and could be mistaken. I'm in.
I've been drinking the "In Greg We Trust" Cool Aid, and will faithfully follow whatever route our leader puts forth. See ya at 6.
Hmmm, Res Loop? Oh...and I'm allergic to cool-aid, especially when it's referenced by a guy named Jim (Jones).
