Here's the route: Hillfest 2016 It's very close to last year, but we had removed West Mountain at the end of the route due to major East Hill construction, I put it back to previous years. There is new construction currently on East Hill that should be finished well in advance. I live right here, so if it doesn't look on track to finish I'll "roy" the route in advance.

We will keep the usual OFD (Old Fart Departure - B Ride) at 5:30pm and the normal 6pm (A Ride). Last year we started at Canton HS, which was a great idea so unless this causes mass hysteria and violates "tradition" - we can keep that safe start location.

All I recall from last year was hills, sweat, exhaustion, I think Sam cracked a set of carbon Zipps, and the paparazzi were following us at every turn for which Eric Landi always seemed front and center of every photo op, I swear he elbowed someone into the ditch half way up Satan's elbow just to gain extra lens time, anyone else catch that move?

Hey, wait a minute! Will it be Wednesday or Thursday night? Will there be a group doing it Thursday in case someone works late on Wednesday nights? Will there be an early departure group?

Now I'm confused. Is the OFD group the same as the ED group? Are they mutually exclusive or can they overlap? Does anyone in the OFD have ED? Will we need Venn diagrams?

Something something something red pants, don't question, just go with it. Wednesday is the date. Thursday is rain date and for those who plan to do it twice. I've only done it twice once but would consider doing it twice twice a and would love to join you. We'll see if my legs agree.

I have to add that the last hill should be up East Mountain Road rather than North Mountain Road.

I'll be riding this year instead of taking photos.

I drove East Hill over the weekend and there are a couple of places the road is cut up as if they are repairing underground pipes. Be careful on the descent between Bahre Corner and 44.
