Rocky Hill Cyclocross Training Races - EBCC Volunteers Needed - Wednesdays: 8/31, 9/7, 9/21, 9/28
The CCAP, EBCC, CCRT, and Horst Teams are combining forces and again need your help to run the CCAP Rocky Hill CX Series! Volunteers are needed to work registration, break down the course and especially for course set-up. This year, all four clubs will share all four weeks. Rocky Hill Cross races are on Wednesday nights, starting 8/31 and continuing until 9/28 this year.
If you sign up to help set up the course, you'll get your race fee waived. Sign-up to race for free as a volunteer is PRE-REG ONLY and is on BikeReg. However, you only get it comped if you register to volunteer ahead of time. There is a huge set-up that takes place EVERY week because we aren't allowed to keep the course in place from one week to the next. All help is appreciated!
Set-up starts around 2:30 PM each Wednesday, which may be a challenge work-wise, but if you can cut out of work early to help make this event successful, it will be very much appreciated.
When you sign up to volunteer, please include our club name as an extension to your first name to show our club's contribution. Example: "Jeffrey(EBCC)". It's especially important that we fill the course set-up assignments!

The Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program's mission is to get more kids on bikes. Volunteer questions? Contact CCAP at "volunteer@ctcyclingadvancement.com", or send me an email through the club forum. Several EBCC club members are volunteer coaches for the local CCAP affiliate Farmington Valley Youth Cycling team, and many of our kids are past or present FVYC MTB, Road and Cyclocross racers.
Reminder that volunteers (especially course set-up) are still needed for 9/21 and 9/28.
