March 25 Annual Spring Kick-Off Dinner

We hope you saved the date of Sunday, March 25th, for the Annual EBCC Spring Kick-Off dinner. The details are finalized and we are looking for another great event and year of riding.

Sunday, March 25th at Brodie Hall, New Hartford, CT

Please RSVP by Wednesday, March 21st at 5PM, by emailing RSVP@EasternBloc.net or posting it on the forum. Let us know the number attending, if you can volunteer to help set-up or clean-up, or if you have a dessert you would love to share! We are looking for 6-8 desserts. Volunteers have the benefits of conversation and tapping the 'keg', or possibly going home with some leftovers.

Remember to renew your EBCC membership prior to the meeting. This is a 2018 event and is open to active EBCC members. Memberships can be done on the www.EasternBloc.net website.

The socializing, corn hole playing and you name it, will begin at 5:00 PM. If it's a nice day, perhaps a group will post their intentions of a ride from this location as well.

4:15 - 5:00 Volunteers Set-up 5:00 - 6:00 Happy Hour...to include corn hole or other games and conversation Somewhere in between socializing and dinner, we will share new topics, and events for the year. We have a Junior Team working with CCAP, a mobil App being developed, a weekend getaway in VT and Demo opportunities for the ever growing interests of 'gravel riding'. Many of you have asked for more socializing time...so we are emphasizing that this year.
6:00 - 7:30 Lasagna Dinner 7:30 - 8:00 Volunteer Clean-up

I'll be there, Jan. Let me know what the Murnos can bring.

I'll be there along with my two boys, Colin (age 10) and Bryce (age 8). We will bring a gluten-free, nut-free dessert--I promise that it tastes great. Speaking of which, I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me a heads up about any peanuts or tree nuts on the menu. Bryce has an allergy. No need to make any changes to the planned menu.

The boys and I are really looking forward to meeting all of you and helping to build a CCAP program in the Farmington Valley. And, I can't wait to talk gravel bikes...

We (2) will be there for setup and dinner.

Bruce and Stacy Komarow will be there. The Murnos need to bring extra

Only kidding, we will bring a dessert

Hi Jan,

Diane and I will be there. Thanks! Andy

The Murno's will be there with a dessert for Greg.

I'll bring a desert and I promise it won't be healthy.

Wyatt and I will be attending, and volunteering for clean-up along with the Murno family.

Jay, Wyatt and I will have some handouts with some basic junior road team info, and we'd like to insert a slide or two into the club presentation if possible.

Looking forward to hearing all about it Jeff!

I'll be there and can help with Set up. (1)

Sorry, won't make it this year

Unfortunately, we have another commitment that day and cannot make it.

I'm planning to go. Jeff B

I’ll be there after the shop closes...so save some ‘fermented beverages’ for me! I may have one of the kids yet no Doug, as he is on the decisive college visit tour with Axel.

I'll help with setup and will probably bring a vegan meal so I'll have something to eat. VeggieMike.

I will only be there for social hour. So don't count me for dinner. Just need to catch up a little.

Will we be able to pay dues and collect swag that evening? Or should I get my rear in gear and pay on-line?

The club currently just has a PayPal account and they took away the ability to deposit checks so it will work out much better to renew online if possible. If people are not able to use the online membership renewal then we can figure something out.

Count me in & help with clean up. ---Randy---

Hi, that day is my wife's birthday so I will show up just for few minutes to catch up on all the news. I'll try to make everyone happy. Thanks Daniel
