I was in Tallahassee earlier this week for a funeral, and as I was driving from the airport to my sister's house on Monday I noticed a Ghost Bike alongside the road. It's a very rural road that I'd been down several times in the past but I'd never noticed it before, so I turned around to have a look.

So on the way home to Connecticut yesterday, I looked up David Alan Baton and the first thing I found was his obituary from... New London, Connecticut.

I didn't expect to find a Connecticut cyclist's memorial on some random, rural road 1200 miles away in the boonies of north Florida.
