EBCC Spring Dinner - Last Call

You know Spring in not too far off (we hope!!) when Daylight Savings Time kicks in. Well, it’s almost here! So that is a sure sign that it’s time again for EBCC’s Annual Spring Kick-off Dinner! And this is your reminder that our event this year will be on Sunday, March 15th. You’re invited!!!!!

This is a fully sponsored club dinner event open to all our current members, so mark your calendar! If you have not already renewed your membership for 2015, we encourage you to do so now. (Make life easy on our Treasurer and renew online at http://www.easternbloc.net/memberships/new.) Membership can also be renewed at the event and 2015 club swag will be on hand for all paid up members.

Here is the pertinent data: Date: Sunday, March 15th. Time: 4:00 - 9:00 PM Location: Berkshire Hall, Brodie Park, 580 West Hill Rd New Hartford, CT 06057

Our guest speakers this year will be Pattie Jacobus and Larry Linonus, representing the Simsbury Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee and Simsbury Free Bike.

In addition to the presentation we will be discussing plans for the upcoming season. We also hope to have a sample (or at least an accurate mock up) of our new club clothing as well as the status of our order and the expected delivery date. You did order clothing, RIGHT?

We hope you will join us for dinner and our related festivities! We’re looking forward to a lively evening. Come on out and enjoy the company of your fellow club members!!!

Our menu this year will be Lasagna, salad, bread, sodas and dessert provided. We are also hoping to be able to provide some craft beer for your enjoyment. (Non club members may also attend the dinner/meeting at a cost of $10.00.) So that we can get a head count (and be able to order an appropriate amount of food!), please RSVP to me (tjwing01@gmail.com) by Wednesday, March 11th. (A confirmation has been sent to everyone who has responded to date - so there’s no need to follow-up with me.) If family members will be accompanying you, please give us a count of how many will be attending. Hope to see you there!

The boys and I are working venue clean-up at the Aetna crits (switched back to Bethel from Rentschler). We'll high-tail it straight to the dinner from there. THINGS WILL GET UGLY IF ROY EATS WYATT'S LASAGNA BEFORE WE ARRIVE !

Will that make Wyatt cross? :)

Thanks folks, you've been great! Try the veal, don't forget to tip your waiters!
