Wingbiters Ride - Friday 3/16? - New Hartford Center - Let's get this show on the road

Sun sets at 7:00 on 3/16. Twilight ends at 7:30. What do you say we plan to ride at 5:45? Consider this my official offer to be one of the Friday night ride leaders.

All ok by me Jeff. Thanks for getting things started. Would renew my request that ride leaders post the route ahead of time (allows folks to determine if they want to do it or not) and that we stick to the route (allows those to meet up with the route if they are riding from home or late). "The route is the route".

A Wingbiter ride without a modification? radical thinking Walt! I like it!

And thanks to Jeff for getting it going!

I scheduled the ride far in advance, so Roy could plan several route "improvements" and still have time to locate his missing car keys and blinkie light. (I don't think there needs to be a mapped route for improvements to be suggested).

We should get some rides on the club calendar. Let me know who should get access to the club's Google calendar so they post and modify Wingbiter rides.

Thank you, Jeff! Not sure if I’ll make it; it might be a “run” day, but thank you for getting this going.

Forecast calls for 30 degrees F at 5:45 ride time. I'm thinking a dumpsteresque CCW East River Rd / West River Rd loop or two through Riverton for our first 2018 ride. Winter hibernation recovery pace.

Post here if you're planning to join me. (I'm not riding by myself!) If nobody chimes in by 4:00 Friday, I'll pull the plug.

Charge your lights. No aero bars, ear buds, bad attitudes or thread-bare shorts allowed.

Not gonna make it, Jeff; it's a swim night. (The water's 80 degrees, a helluva lot warmer than outside.)

Cold. Windy. Nobody wants to freeze their water bottles. Tonight's ride is officially cancelled.

Welcome to leading the Wingbiters, Jeff. It's like herding cats.

Should go well with the junior team coaching gig Greg.

I was secretly hoping nobody was foolish enough to turn out for a ride in those conditions.

Spring is coming! (I hope)
