Wingbiter Friday 12/7--COLLINSVILLE
I'm not sure if anyone would like to plan a ride for Friday night out of Collinsville. I'll be swimming that morning, instead. But the Collinsville Christmas Event is that evening. For anyone who's interested, I was thinking of meeting there at--what do you think?--7:30 pm. That'll give people a chance to exercise, first. Then we can walk around and sing Christmas carols and eat chestnuts roasting on an open fire and take a buggy ride through town.
This Friday is luminaire night in Riverton. Christmas in Riverton 2018
Forecast is calling for 25 degrees F and 10 MPH winds. Are there any other crazy Wingbiters who'd like to join me at 6:00 for a quick ride from New Hartford Town Hall, up West River Road, then back to New Hartford via East River Road? We'd stop at the Riverton Grange to quickly make a food or cash donation to the Community Food Bank and cast a ballot for our favorite tree.
Once back in New Hartford, we could caravan to Collinsville to join the rest of the team.
Jay, Jim, Winn, Brett, Daniel, Roy, Cheryl, Walt? If four other people commit to joining me by 12/6 11:00 PM, the ride is on.

Jeff, getting over shoulder surgery, so will be unable to join you on the Riverton Luminary Ride, perhaps the most hallowed tradition of the Wingbiters. Ah, the memories of you fixing Greg's chain in extreme cold outside the Riverton Store. Good stuff.

The horse-drawn carriage rides run from 6-8 pm and are very popular. So we'll plan to meet in front of LaSalle Market at 6 pm tonight. Some of you will need to purchase champagne flutes.

Either common sense has prevailed for the ride tonight or Zwift is making the Wingbiters soft. Hope to see you all on foot in Collinsville tonight and Riverton tomorrow.
