I will post "ride or no ride" for tonight's "C" ride from West Simsbury by 4:00 pm. We have chances of showers later. I don't ride in the wet if I can avoid it.

Looks like we'll have a good "C" group at the Tour de Lyme. Feel free to join us.

This message is to invite everyone to join the ‘Silent Ride’ from Salmon Brook Park located on Rt. 10 just south of the Granby Center. The ride will take place on Wednesday, May 15th with a 6PM roll out. You can arrive at 5:45PM with your road bike. We can ride to memorialize, honor, recognize and respect friends and families that have lost a loved one or been injured while riding a bike. The speed will be 13-14mph, and is silent. Black armbands will be distributed at the beginning of the ride.

RSVPs are not required. Lights are recommended. The ride happens rain or shine. Bring a picnic for after the ride, as some folks will assemble after the ride. Spread the word…this is open to all.

I (Chuck) will be joining the Silent Ride out of Granby, so I will not be leading a middle pace (B-ish) ride from W Simsbury this evening. I plan to resume attendance for Mon & Wed evening rides next week.
