It's sad to see the sunlight going away, but Don is right. I will be there as best as I can for 5:30

I guess we scared them away. Still 2.5 months of good riding before ski season starts.

For this week at least, any reason not to start a slightly faster group Wed @ 5:45 and simply keep distance under 25 miles? I'm happy to lead that if folks can't make a 5:30 start.
As an eternal optimist, I am planning to be there at 5:30!

Chuck, I do think 5:45 works ok. Maybe another couple of weeks. I am not comfortable with us coming back in the darkness, even with lights on.
But the main problem is the weather forecast for today. Let's see what the afternoon brings
8/21 My STD "C" ride is cancelled for this evening. Future cast shows more showers and thunderstorms moving in as the evening progresses. Maybe next Monday @ 5:30. Note: I'm riding from Granby up to Southwick on Friday for lunch, and also a ride from N. Canaan on Sunday. let me know if interested in either. Don

I am cancelling tonight from my perspective. Roads are wet, more rain may happen. Monday!
