Tuesday, September 18 B Ride

With a sunset of 6:56PM and a rainy day in store, let's check back at 4:30PM to see if the ride is still on for a 5:30PM departure.

I will not be able to be at the ride as Doug is at Interbike (checking out all kinds of developing technology...and accepting our America's Best Bike Shop Award). Duty calls me to stay at the shop.

Anyhow, with the amount of possible daylight, the group could head to East Hartland through the roads of West Simsbury and up Rt 20. From there, you could come back via Rt. 179 and then finish on Rt 309. A straight forward ride with a steady (not grueling) climb. Whomever takes the helm for the ride, could take suggestions from others...if the ride happens.

Anyhow, let me know if you have questions...or check back at 4:30pm for the final call. Also...let me know if someone would like to guide the ride tonight.

Have a good day.

I plan on riding if it's not raining. Last week we took the steady climb up 20 and came back Lost Aces. The other route option is the Newgate route and back through Tariffville.

I will not make it to tonight's ride but Congrats on America's best bike shop - I would have to agree.

I plan on riding 5:30 if not raining

Sun is coming out. I’ll lead- 25 mile Newgate Loop- out to Holcomb to Canton Rd to Salmon to Hungary to Copper to Newgate to Holcomb (E Granby) and back through Tariffville. Must start right at 530p.

Jeff, Thanks for taking the group out. 5:30 roll out. Please remember blinky lights. Be safe and have fun!
