Tuesday 8/26 - Simsbury CP Ride
All, This week we honor Coleman's departure with a trip to his favorite climb, Silkey.
Here's the Mapped Route. Daylight is getting surprisingly short with a 7:35 sunset but the weather looks fantastic, so 24mi/1600ft should be good.
See everyone at 5:45pm for departure at 6:00pm sharp
Cue Sheet: Out Old Farms rd to Firetown rd (regroup) Simsbury Rd than Climb up Higley & Silkey (regroup) Descent the freshly paved Mountain Road (Regroup) Caution at bottom with no run out Return via N. Granby Rd / Rt 189, Bushy Hill, Barndoor Hill, Holcomb, Old Farms
We historically switch to 5:30 starts in September since there's so little daylight. (9/2-7:23, 9/9-7:11, 9/16- 6:59), I know this makes it hard for some to attend so we discuss before we start, see everyone Tuesday.
