Weather looking grand, so we will have our grand Lost Acres ride, 30mi with 2400ft of climb. Two efforts, Lost Acres which is top-5 most enjoyable roads in CT and 219 which is a great climb and we get rewarded at dusk with a freshly paved Case St. descent.

Queue Sheet:

• Head out to the right via Hedgehog, Saddle Ridge, Lenora to the end at Old Farms (Quick regroup)
• Left on Old Farms take until the end, Left on Firetown to end (Regroup)
• Left on Simsbury Road, Right on Day St to RT-20 (Regroup)
• Stay on Day St crossing RT-20 to the end at 189 (Regroup)
• Left on 189 to Lost Acres, climb to the top (Regroup)
• Left on Granville Rd into East Hartland, Left on RT-20 and descent
• Right onto RT-219 and climb to Case St, make a left on Case and climb the brief riser to Edgerton (Regroup)
• Descend Case St, left on RT-179 and left on 309 back to the start

This is a "B" ride (generally averaging 15-18 mph) - Route varies weekly, exploring areas west, north, and east of Simsbury. Rides are generally hilly given our part of the state. Regroups always occur at key points, certainly at the tops of climbs. This Ride's is considered "Progressive" where each week the distance, speed and climb increase as riders improve and we chase the sunset for maximum ride time.
