It's Election Day; get out and vote early so you can ride at night.

Time: 6:30pm

Location: Commuter lot at the intersection of Wilcox Street and Iron Horse Blvd, Simsbury (Behind the Bank of America drive-up ATM).

What: Off-road, night-time cyclocross/mountain bike ride. Mix of rail trail, dirt roads and singletrack trails throughout the Farmington Valley. Keep your road bikes at home.

What should I bring?: Handlebar or helmet light (or both), rear strobe light, bike clothing appropriate for the weather (it can get cold after sunset). Bring a change of clothes for a post-ride beer, as well as extra money to buy a beer for the swell ride leaders.

Route: Around and about.

This week's weather: Temps in the high 60s during the day and should stay in the 50s for the ride.

"Winter Pace" will be strictly enforced.
