Watching the weather - current forecast is calling for rain Tuesday night. I'll post during the day Tuesday as to whether or not we cancel.

Time: 6:30pm

Location: Commuter lot at the intersection of Wilcox Street and Iron Horse Blvd, Simsbury (Behind the Bank of America drive-up ATM).

What: Off-road, night-time cyclocross/mountain bike ride. Mix of rail trail, dirt roads and singletrack trails throughout the Farmington Valley. Keep your road bikes at home.

What should I bring?: Handlebar or helmet light (or both), rear strobe light, bike clothing appropriate for the weather (it can get cold after sunset). Bring a change of clothes for a post-ride beer, as well as extra money to buy a beer for the swell ride leaders.

Route: Maybe some new stuff on the other side of the river.

This week's weather: Temps will be around the low 50s/high 40s at ride time.

"Winter Pace" will be strictly enforced.
