I'm still planning on this trip. On Thursday will do the around the lake ride into Canada (Magog) 76 miles and 3,800' https://ridewithgps.com/routes/13394169, and on Saturday I'll ride from Island Pond into the Northeast Kingdom to Canaan on the Canadian border and back. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/13596987, 67 miles and 2900' of climbing. I'm staying at The Little Gnesta B&B in Newport. It will make for a nice few days of exploring. I've not done the Island Pond ride although I've certainly been through Island Pond. I can't give anyone a ride because I'll probably becoming in from either Stowe or Middlebury, Vt.
