Thursday (12/3) Off-road Night Ride (CP) - New Hartford
Okay, we have not done this ride for month, due to weather and the Thanksgiving holiday. Weather looks okay this week; cloudy and around 40F.
Time: 6:30 pm
Location: New Hartford Center (parking lot behind the police station - same location as the dumpster ride)
What the hell is this? Off-road cyclocross ride featuring the dirt roads around New Hartford, Canton, Collinsville, Burlington, etc. For those of you with inadequate bicycle inventories, a mountain bike will do. Rides will be mostly dirt roads and quiet back roads and can be fairly hilly. No single-track or mountain bikey stuff.
What to bring: Headlights, tail lights, cycling clothing appropriate for colder weather, change of clothes for the possibility of a post-ride beverage.
Route: Modified Waynebiter or anything else the group decides upon.
Winter pace will be strictly enforced
