Location: New Hartford Center (parking lot behind the police station - same location as the dumpster ride)

What the hell is this? Off-road cyclocross ride featuring the dirt roads around New Hartford, Canton, Collinsville, Burlington, etc. For those of you with inadequate bicycle inventories, a mountain bike will do. Rides will be mostly dirt roads and quiet back roads and can be fairly hilly. No single-track or mountain bikey stuff.

What to bring: Headlights, tail lights, cycling clothing appropriate for colder weather, change of clothes for the possibility of a post-ride beverage.

Route: Maybe the Classic Waynebiter?

Winter pace will be strictly enforced

Weather looks pretty good. Rain will clear out and temps should be pretty mild. Breezy Hill should have some new canyons from the recent rains.

No, "EPIC" implies things like sleeping in a cave, stumbling upon a Satanic cult, outrunning a mountain lion, or harassing the local citizenry in an attempt to borrow a tig welder. I was just hoping for a nice two hour hilly ride.
