Thrusday night hike 12/22
You have a choice: you can sit inside eating Christmas cookies and fruitcake and wrapping presents and getting fatter; or you can come out to the Stillman-Danaher Preserve in Torrington for an invigorating hike. Meet at 6:15 pm at the trailhead. On Thrusday. (Can somebody fix that?)

This just in: due to popular demand (okay, one person who can't make it to Torrington), the Thursday night hike has been re-routed to Sweetheart Mountain in Collinsville. This hike has a nice climb at the beginning and a superb lookout. Unlike the lookouts in People's Forest, there are actually things to look at. 6:15 at the trailhead. Here's the route.
