Sunday Winter Rides

All- If anyone is interested in riding on a Winter Sunday at 900a “scheduled ride” from West Simsbury, let me know, while the roads are still decent... 25-35 miles easy winter riding...

Not sure if I can make it this weekend but I’m interested. Pavement or mixed surface works for me.

Interested as well. Also unsure as to this weekend since I have to take son to airport but please post start location anyways and I'll try to make it.

Excellent,

Looks windy, but if it’s dry we can dig in.. Leaving West Simsbury, park behind Manny’s restaurant (Mon/Tue- group ride takeoff spot), at 900a Sunday.. We can do the Newgate prison loop, about 28 miles...

Hope to ride!

If the weather looks reasonable, I'll be there.

I could be convinced to do some Sunday AM rides, family and work schedules permitting. I need to be able to keep up with Coach Jay when the youth road season kicks in.

Ha!

In for 900a,

I am trying to hit the first Sunday in 2019 with a nice winter paced ride out of West Simsbury counter clockwise to Newgate and back on the tail wind. Let me know if interested or/and meet me at the West Simsbury plaza at 900a.

I’m planning on being there.

Anyone up for a ride on Saturday? I’d prefer mid-morning or after to let things warm up a bit. Winter pace. Pavement or mixed surface. You tell me.

I would go at 100p on Saturday. I have to coach until then.

In. What’s the route?

We can do the same route as last Sunday- (Leave West SImsbury Plaza)- counter clockwise the Newgate Prison route. It's 30 miles and about 1600' in climb... Bundle Up- Hope to see some hearty souls at 100p Saturday...

Will anyone else to be riding road studs? If not, I’ll bring another bike to quicken the Winter pace.

No studs- last week we rode at about 15-16 mph...

Wind chills in the teens. This is why God gave us mountain bikes.

Yeah, hopefully I won’t regret suggesting a pavement ride. We really need to get EBCC Gravel Club going...

Zwift meet up as another option to get EBCC folks together if the weather is less than ideal.
