In lieu of the canceled Wingbiter, we're planning on a ride to the Southfield store via New Marlboro with a return through Norfolk. Beat the snow Sunday!
"Roy" pace...
In the unlikely event clarification and self-deprecation is necessary, RP ("Roy Pace") means slow enough to be enjoyable (and enjoyed) by Roy and by anyone else as fat, old and out-of-shape as he is/I am.....
p.s. That return via Norfolk is Doug's masochistic idea (how I hate 272!); I'd much rather return via the pretty dirt road linking Southfield to York Lake and then many miles of mostly downhill back to Sandy Brook. To be negotiated over coffee, scones and really good giant ginger snap cookies (skip the double-chocolate ones) at the Southfield store.
Hmmmm... I specifically asked for coffee, ginger snap cookies in a quentisential New England town with country mural painted in the bathroom on the Collinsville gravel grinder ride tomorrow, but they snubbed me.
Coffee, ginger snap cookies, and "Roy Pace"...sold! I'm in. You guys really know how to sell a ride.
