Sat: SP 72 miler from Millerton
The weather for the Harlem Valley Trail Ride event is looking worse than earlier so I'm going to ride from the same spot on Sat. If anyone would like to join me, I'll be leaving from the park @ 9:00 am for the 72 mile ride. ridewithgps.com/routes/6773518. I'm sorry to miss the food, company & festivities, but it has rained this date for the past 2 years and I won't do it in the rain again (at least for a few more years anyway).
Don, I will join you! Not interested in rain/humidity predicted for Sunday. I'll be at the park in time for the 9:00 start.

We started out with a great day, but at about mile 30 I developed a medical issue. Many thanks to Tom for sticking with me and ultimately riding ahead to get his car and pick me up. 1st time in my riding career I couldn't finish a ride. Tom was terrific. We still managed 50 miles, although I think Tom got 57. Start my new meds tomorrow morning. Hope they work!
Good decision to ride yesterday instead of today, Don. A shame that it wasn't a complete success. Hope you're feeling better and that the meds do the trick!
