https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31328174 This will be my last group ride until Thanksgiving so if you want to get in on it let me know. We’ll do a loop from N. Canaan to Stockbridge and return which will follow mostly back roads; no dirt that I know of . Start is from the Stop and Shop in N. Canaan on RT 44 just before the intersection with RT 7 South. Start time is 9:30. Please be early to get assembled. Lunch will be in Stockbridge at the General Store. Bring cash as they don’t do credit cards. A bank is up the road toward the Red Lion Inn so at least bring an ATM card. At 45 miles and 1500’ of climbing it is a pretty mellow ride. Even more mellow after lunch! Avgerage pace is the usual 11-12 mph. Dress in layers as we’ll start cold and warm up as the day progresses. I’ll be keeping an eye on the weather, and will provide an update later in the week as the forecast becomes firmer. Facilities in the Stop & Shop. Hope to see you there.
