6 pm from New Hartford center. A counter-clockwise (I'm m sure there will be some discussion about that) reservoir loop followed by a 3-mile run to the third mailbox (the big white one) on the left on the Farmington River Turnpike (a.k.a. Puddletown Road).
You're correct. Expect discussion/hijack. Last night's discussion showed a preference for going up Sandy Brook and back down Sandy Brook followed by some "cool" beverages 
, all this due to the heat. A run would still be an option for those who wish to do so.
Weather progressively getting more-betters, good chance we won't need to bring our bumbershoots.
If it holds out, I'm pre-announcing a hijacking for a straight shot up and back Sandybrook.
Maybe wear our tri shorts and try out a dip in the Sandy Brook on the right side as we go up? I've always wanted to try that.
Addendum: @3:02PM temp is 94.3 in New Hartford, and it's not a dry heat.
