RFTCC-Wingbiter Friday July 1 postponed July 2 @9 am
Hey! Do you know what we haven't done in a while? A res loop. And we certainly haven't followed it with a 3-mile run to the big white mailbox (the third one on the left) on the Farmington River Turnpike and back. So bring your running shoes (Ned)!

Hmm. So now a res loop is easier than last weeks ride. Wow
Greg
179 is still under construction for repaving we should wait another week or 2 till they finish. Park road would be a good replacement.
Hi all, I just saw there's a chance of thunderstorms tomorrow, and tomorrow evening. Shall I look here for cancellation info? Or make up my own dam mind?

Let's review:
Option 1 - Listen to your own good judgement
Option 2 - Read the forum posts from guys who will probably wrap their helmets in tin foil before riding into the thunderstorms
I'll post a final decision on the ride here at around 4:30 pm. But John's right; bring tinfoil.
I'm soliciting opinions as to whether people would rather ride tonight (maybe a couple of Riverton loops in case it rains, so we're not far away from our cars if it starts to pour) or postponing our brick workout until tomorrow morning at, say, 9 am. Ned says he would feel drier if we rode tomorrow morning, instead. Alan would like to ride tonight, if it's not raining.
We have three good days of weather coming up and a tornado watch in effect tonight. I say pick something other than tonight. Tomorrow morning I am likely going on a nice hike to the north end store for breakfast. A ride later in the morning or another day this weekend would suit me but the majority rules.
3:58pm update.....thunder in new Hartford.
Okay, here's the final decision: I'm canceling tonight's ride because of the likelihood of bad weather tonight, and I'm rescheduling to 9 am in New Hartford center tomorrow morning, because of the likelihood of fabulous weather tomorrow. Triathletes, bring your running shoes.
Good call Greg
I can hear Kris complaining she has to work and we can ride tomorrow.
Is tomorrow's route decided? I'd like to go but am playing Gigi
You're correct Brett!! Really....can't we ride tonight??? Maybe the tornado winds will help me get another QOM:). Lol:). Just kidding:). Everyone have a good night and a good ride tm. I WILL be working:(((. Happy 4th!

Like the picture I posted earlier this afternoon?
I'm glad we didn't ride tonight, we were out of tin foil. But Saturday at 9 in NH works. See you then
