RFTCC-Wingbiter Friday 9/5
I wanted to get this ride on the calendar early in the week to allow riders to plan accordingly, since it will require a cross or a mountain bike: Route Bring lights!
'bout time you hit the dirt.
By the way, they installed a gate on Satan's Kingdom Road at the top of the "Class 5 Rapids," before you hit the pavement to descend to Rt. 44. It's okay to pass through, but I wonder if they will start maintaining that section of road. Still a hike-a-bike section for the folks with cross bikes.
Unfortunately I can't make this ride. Looks like a nice route. Let me know what you think of miles 13-15.
If you trace the route the dot stops at 13 and then jumps to 15. Is it some sort of portal?

zombie territory
Looking foward to some dirt and a zombie zone (better make sure im not first there ) tomorrow
> zombie territory
Many years ago, on mountain bike rides, we would come across a spot (altar?) in Nepaug used by Satan worshipers. Quite elaborate and obviously used by a large group. I can't remember exactly where it was, but I'm pretty sure it's not between mile 13 and 15 on Greg's route. Nah, probably not. I think.

Probably due to lack of sacrificial virgins
It's curious that more women don't ride with the Wingbiters. I wonder why that is, Bruce?
I vote we sacrifice Brett. I believe they did last year too. We'll make it a yearly ritual. Should we bring candles?
I am already looking forward to the Rogowski recap on this one!
Nice route Greg for my first mountain bike ride. Bruce thanks for letting me borrow the bike. John and Brett thanks for staying back with me when I was going slow because I didn't know what I was doing:). Luckily no zombies spotted but I agree with Brett an old guy should definitely be sacrificed if needed:). Great evening, thanks for letting me join you. Kris
