RFTCC-Wingbiter Friday 9/19***NOT THE FINAL RIDE OF THE SEASON BECAUSE THERE IS NO FINAL RIDE***

The Big-Shot Cycling Club will climb Satan's Elbow on Friday:

Route

6 pm from New Hartford center, bring headlights, a road bike, and a rear blinkie. Call it the RFTCC/BSCC-Wingbiter.

The use of BS may be misconstrued. We need to be careful. Great route!

Oh there will be a final ride this year, little men in tights. Just pass by the town center again when it's a little darker out and we are not preoccupied with a book burning.

Satans Elbow and and Great route - do not belong in the same sentence together.

Hey that's my job to convert Greg's routes! Well I guess I was slow to get to it this time. Unfortunately this is one of those rare times when you actually can't teach 'em how to fish.... or grow corn.... or drink water.... or use RideWithGPS.com...

Greg, you have a portion of this ride leisurely travelling through scenic downtown Collinsville and still managed to exceed 102ft/mi... NICE!

It'd be even nicer (?) and the ft/mi ratio a bit greater if the mile 16 marker rather than being down on New Rd was moved instead to the top of Cemetery Rd above C'ville Center; easy route mod: just go right on Huck Hill to Cemetery, then up the wee nasty climb 'round the tombstones & back down into C'ville proper. ~ Official Route Modificator

WHAT???

I like cemetery rides. They go well with Satan's Elbow climbs.

Greg i thought you were tapering

He's having one less beer and wing later on.

This will make his ride feel like he's on the Cape

Another fine ride. All the elements of an early "dark season" Wingbiter were present including the cold. Could have done without the route mod around the cemetery. The minor climb wasn't worth the loose sand, gravel, and crappy roads that followed. Michel Angelo's was a fine alternative.

Cheese and bacon fries dipped in Ranch dressing! Yum!
