6 pm from New Hartford center. This route is the old Greater Hartford Triathlon bike course, which used to be held at Winding Trails around 2000. (The climb up Steele back to New Hartford is my own embellishment.)
greg do we really have to ride on route 4 in Farmington that is a crazy busy road.
Of course not! I won't even be with you (tapering, you know). Modify it anyway you like!
Hey Brett, at 177, we can cross the river, take New Britian ave, across the Meadow to garden street, back to route 4, and back to town Farm. We'd miss the busy part of route 4 in Farmington.

Brett did a great job of completely hijacking the route last week, I say he does it again!
I'll be riding the southern loop only tonight. Gotta get ready for a trip this weekend. ;)
Where exactly do you guys meet for this ride? I looked at the coordinates but just looks like a miscellaneous spot in the center of town.
By the dumpster in the parking lot behind New Hartford Town Hall & Police Station (and Doug Gerard's medical office).
