This is Doug's Annual Ice Cream Ride. Here is the route. Hey, you have to earn the ice cream! Afterward, we'll have a fire and a bite to eat at the Magennis'.

RSVP, please, either on this thread or at (860)-841-0375.

Jim and Doug, I'm in.

Also, please mark your calendars: Friday July 7, we'll begin the Wingbiter from Collinsville. It'll be a pretty flat and not-too-long route, because ERRACE is the next morning. After Friday night's ride, we'll do the moonlight paddle with Collinsville Canoe and Kayak.

Sorry to miss this. Family coming into town, will be en route to the airport.

Walt and Bets

Why not just ad a loop on to the route & head up to the Granville Scoop where Doug can buy us all ice-cream sundays. Alan

Unwritten rule: Doug buys the ice cream, therefore Doug decides where.

Tim is in, and does the ice cream include spouse's/ significant others/partners/posslq's?

  1. This is our first ice cream ride, are we stopping for ice cream along the way? If so where?
  2. Dinner afterwards - is there a theme? What can / should the Veggie folk bring?

Veggie Heather on behalf of Veggie Mike (who is vegan)

I think I'm in but won't know for sure until I'm in, or not.

Isn't the ice cream place further up 189 than this route takes us? Or are we having ice cream in a different place?

Jim, you are absolutely correct if we are going to The Scoop in Granville. We could continue on 189 south to the center of Granby and go to Grass Roots. Or go to Tulmeadow just before going up Shingle Mill

Yummmmm, ice cream....... And as always, if you cannot cycle with us, please join us for the post ride portion of the evening. We'll be having brats, wings and beer. Corn hole and fire pit to follow. Gina will be here and I suspect we'll be back at 8ish.

Are any other "non-wingbiters" interested in riding tonight? I want to ride but won't be at wingbiter pace.

Okay, all you little control freaks who need to know EXACTLY where you're getting ice cream: we're stopping at Tulmeadow Farm for ice cream just before we climb Shingle Mill Rd. As part of the fun, we'll see if everyone can keep his/her ice cream down.

And Tim, only if the spouse/significant other is on the ride.

What's with the "little" comments lately? Are you guys trying to tell me and Brett something?
