RFTCC-wingbiter Friday 4/22

Would anyone object to a two-dam route this Friday night, beginning in New Hartford center at 6 pm?

If you do, too damn bad. (I was dying to say that!)

Here is the Route

Greg your link did not work

Working on it.

I like it! I am in.

I can't make it tonight Good luck with the weather

I'm in if there is a ride.

60% chance of thundershowers at 7 pm. I'll make the call closer to ride time. If it's nice out at 5:30 pm, though, I will keep the ride on and just shorten it if the weather looks threatening when we get to the parking lot.

didn't we do that before, and you needed a new cell phone ?

Hmmm. And shoes!

I just rode through total downpour in simsbury, not looking too good at the moment

It's looking pretty ominous out there. I just don't want to wimp out. I'll make a call in the next hour.

Radar looks okay now.

dry in torrington and clearing sky to the west

I am going to ride with you guys. But my analysis says that at 7:08pm we will enter a total downpour.

So I recommend you bring crap you don't care about and those lucky enough to have beaters or cross bikes you should bring those.

For those who don't care about the weather or rule 9 --- I plan to have post-ride desert.

EDIT - My analysis is based off that last heave storm to pass through earlier today didn't exist 30 minutes before it hit us. it materialized in CT once it air chilled in Litchfield area. I would expect a new pop up storm to do the same around 7pm.
