Temps are forecast as high-37 degrees, low-17 degrees. Do we want to think about a hike on Friday night? I'm thinking Sweetheart Mountain in Collinsville. I recommend parking in the center of Collinsville near LaSalle market at 6 pm and walking to the trailhead. Here's the hike. Points of interest: (1) lovely overlook, (2) old, rusted ski lift, (3) tent shelter, (4) old well.
I prefer a hike. see you there.
