RFTCC-Wingbiter Friday 12/12

6 pm from New Hartford center. As long as the roads aren't icy, I'd like to use road bikes, because I know Alan and Red Mike are dying to rejoin this ride. Here's the route I was thinking of

It’s a nothing short of a masterpiece, only painted on the roads of New Hartford.

I appreciate the ending of the thorny Bruning climb, followed by the thorny West Hill descent, then almost immediately; a thorny pitcher of beer. It's like one’s novel of a spiritual journey that is thorny followed by what you believe to be a thorny finale but quickly has a thorny ending. Better not effin rain.

thorny??

'Tis the season. The Christmas parties begin with Maria's this Friday evening. I'll be skipping this ride and opting for some Christmas cheer instead.

Try not braking through dead mans curve and let me know if it's thorny. You know, thorny - like difficult, where you have to use caution.

um, OK. Hopefully dry roads will tone down the thorniness of the ride.

Sounds like another epic ride. I'll be there to experience this masterpiece.

Fixed it for you.

Careful on West Hill road and "Deadman's Curve." Lots of sand and gravel now and there will be more on Friday night after predicted snow squalls. You need to ride down the tire tread ribbons and there's also a bump across the road from a recent road repair that is located right where you will be going fast and straight.

I'm out. I will be at a Christmas party enjoying some holiday cheer also. Ride safe. Watch out for the sand, ice, other various road hazards. See you all soon:)

I'm out too. One of the dang parties. Enjoy all!

So if it starts out to be below 30 degrees I should throw an office party?

Or break your wife's leg and bring her in for surgery.

Hey! She's still recovering!

brett, want me to bring you a road bike?

I'm out too - heading to NYC to see the Christmas sights and see the Nutcracker. Besides - it's way too cold for me. Have fun

Sounds like fun. If the Wingbiters aren't careful tonight there may be some cracked nuts in New Hartford as well. (Watch the sand and gravel!)
