I've got a suggestion to avoid Torrington roads and get some more off road riding. Head up Niles after Shady Brook and we can go around the lake exploring some scout roads, etc. Might be a bit shorter though.

Let's put it this way: a mountain bike would not be a bad investment for the winter months.

I'd like to Bruce but struggle to get there for 6. After the ride loop? If not I probably won't ride. It's a lot for to get out for 14 miles. We could try a LaSalle ride one night where we do the Thursday night gravel loop. LaSalle has open mic night on Fridays, good food and drink too. Just beer but it's good beer. Just a thought.

I hope to be there in time for the CX ride tonight. I would also be in favor of some winter road rides going forward. A split squad might be indicated.
