RFTCC-Wingbiter Friday 10/9

I'm not sure about the weather on Friday. But if it's decent, here's the route. 6 pm from New Hartford center, as always.

Oh, very funny moniker: CrossBike RedPants!

Some things just stick! :)

Are you ready kids? “Aye Aye Captain”

I can't hear you! “AYE AYE CAPTAIN”

Oohh...

Who lives on a Specialized under the trees?

Here's a good epitaph:

"I've already spent too much time on the ground tonight"

Says "Crossbike Orangepants"

I'm looking at the hourly weather chart for today, and it basically says it's 0% chance to 6:00pm, then 107% chance of rain from 6:01 to 7:59, then back to 0% from 8pm onward... There really is an evil-anti-cyclist-weather-overlord out there.... and man is he (probably a she actually.. and one of our wives if I had to be specific) really powerful.

And for this reason I will be doing "the circuit" and swim laps tonight, saving (not shaving) my legs for tomorrow's "flater" (Brett probably meant to spell "flatter") CP ride and gala picnic.

NB: Greg is not riding tonight either, saving (and maybe shaving) his legs for another superhuman running event tomorrow in Hartford. Good luck Greg!

Thanks, guys! See you next week. And remember:

You may recall that my moniker in the old forum was "Evil Weather Overlord". That little orange pants crack ain't so funny now is it? :)

You don't mind if I call you Patrick, do you?

Only if you like snow in October.
