Old School Res Loop 4/20

Some of you EBCCer's may remember that "back in the day" the April Res Loop began and ended at Berg Field in East Hartland. One advantage of that start location was the fact that the group pretty much stayed together for first five or six miles of the ride before the hills separated the grimpeurs from the pretenders! Well a few "veterans' of those old school Res Loops will be re-enacting the traditional ride this week. We'll be leaving Berg Field at 5:15, aiming to connect with the group starting at the dam at 5:45.

Join us for a spin down memory lane!

While I don't recall enjoying the trip down 219 during commuting hours, being done at the top of the hill does hold some nostalgia for warm toes. Be careful and we'll see you at the dam.

There is small group headed out from DD in New Hartford at 5:30 with a 5:45 start from the dam.

Weather is going to be great. I hope we see lots of people this week.

Yes! Very, very few would remember that.

After speaking with Steve Savino Monday evening about old times, I had just pulled out old club notes and information including ride schedules. I can verify "way back" goes back to at least 1993.... and most likely beyond. Thursday evenings in April, Tom Q.

My bike had training wheels in 1993.

Who's going to break the news to Tom that EBCC no longer pays for the Port-O-Pottie at Berg Field.

Coincidently, Brett's Port-O-Pottiie also had training wheels in 1993.

Brett, that is too damn funny!
