Makeup Dirt Ride, Saturday 4-8
For the brave souls, and anyone else interested, who endured the aborted dirt road ride I led last Fall that started in rain, continued in rain, and ended in a rain-shortened frozen shudder...I am keeping my make-up ride promise and will be doing the same route this Saturday, leaving from the Bantam Courthouse parking lot at 10 AM. Plan on a ride time of 3 and a half-ish hours. I will try to figure out a coffee stop even if it's at the end of the ride at Cafe 202. You'll be most comfortable on a 'cross bike but MTB is fine. The pace will be the usual not exactly slow but not a race.
And if you are thinking...nahhh...I'll pass and catch the next wonderful Litchfield Hills dirt road ride Wayne leads, think again. We sold our house and are Escaping New York(ers) and headed back east to Burlington. So there's that to consider....
I'm in if the weather is good .
Sounds great and want to join you again. And it's great to hear that we'll be seeing more of you soon

Well, I guess that's the polite thing to say.
I'll be tapering for Paris-Roubaix, so Saturday's a maybe.
Eric: Of course you'll be there. I'm doing the ride specifically for you. Jeff: Where have you been? I've ridden dirt roads more than pavement the past 6 years. Jim: Will you be my Chief of Staff when I'm (re)elected President? John: Pretty sure Gaimon got the call for Sunday, not you.
It was so much fun last time how could anyone pass up a repeat? Lots of snow melt and rain. Will we look like cyclocross racers afterwords?
Wayne, I may have to back out I've had a fever all day and unless I quickly recover, I have to pass Enjoy
Also out. Long drive to the start and many unfinished house projects to do before Easter company arrives.
There's always a ride on Sunday with your loyal pavement buddies if things don't work out. ; )
> 'twas a good one and Randy tolerated 3 hours of my babbling quite well.
Does this mean Randy automatically gets this year's Gnome award?
So see you at 8:30????
