Luminary Wingbiter?
Perhaps the most hallowed of all Wingbiter rides (only rivaled by the Ghost Bridge Ride) is the Riverton Luminary Ride. It brings back memories of Jeff fixing Greg's chain in the freezing cold at the RIverton Store and remembrances of "walkers" in the pitch dark on the Route 20 hill. In the past a route has been chosen that takes us past the candle lit sidewalks twice. Something like: Route .
Does anyone know if there is a Wingbiter this Friday? Weather looks good.

I remember a snow squall on one of them >
Squalls would be better than this
Is that a Benidorm jersey I see conquering the hills of Pittsburgh?! We're going to need a race report over food and drink Greg!
That's Doug Tanner, not me. I think I was walking the bike by that point on Ravine Street. A luminary Wingbiter on road bikes seems like just the thing for Friday night. 6 pm from New Hartford center. This ride has it all: a nice warm-up, over 20 miles in length, a hill, and a course through Riverton.
And Brian Smith! Benidorm Bikes/Eastern Bloc Cycling Club was well represented!
What do you all say ... can we give riders the option of dropping off a non-perishable food item or monetary donation at the Grange Hall, and casting a vote for the best tree, on our first pass through town?
Nice choice for this Friday's ride, but we need to skip the Hogback section. Gates will be closed and it's off limits at night anyway. Climb up 20 and go down Taylor instead.
I will leave that to whoever COMPLETELY hijacked my ride and changed the route from the one I had planned! Just kidding--I'll do whatever you want.
You had me at “food and drink’. I’ll be there

I say good idea Jeff. Will only take a second to stop and give a donation to the Community Food Bank. (There is usually a "slowdown" at the Churro Cart on one of the passes through the town anyway).
A can't miss ride!! See you all there.
and Jan Tanner too...chasing (if we can call it that) those young women...including Stephanie! (referring to The Dirty Dozen in Pittsburgh)
