July Wed A route
Since we did the usual July route in June due to the work on 179 we'll need to get creative. Bring your hill legs.
I will not be there tomorrow (7/13).
I thought this route went well last week. Only changes were we cut through Carpenter/Dings and headed up Winchester Rd in Bakerville to get off 202. Then at the end of creamery road we went over the Hogsback Dam and straight back to 44 via Pleasant Valley.
It's up to this week's ride leaders to make the call. Ron, Brett? You guys gonna be there?

I left the end or the route going up 181 and over the dam to RT 219. We can regroup at the end of East River Road and decide what the group wants to do.

I doing Greylock century Saturday so I will also be saving my legs. Ride will be A- level at best. We'll see who shows up!
Who is up for leading the A ride this week?
I will not be there tonight. Hopefully one of the other ride leaders can attend. Otherwise we will cancel the "official" ride.

I will be there to lead the ride tonight. Nice ride last week. More A- or B+ level with regrouping. Weather should be great tonight.
As usual, I cheated and took the Wicket Street short cut again. Made Patsy go with me so I wouldn't get lonely. My rear derailer quit on me so only had a two speed and that is my excuse. Hope no-one waited for us.
I will not there again this week but will be returning to the Wed ride for the month of August. Wed ride leaders: Good luck and we're all counting on you. Pat

Anyone have an August route? Need to factor in earlier sunset time towards the end of Aug.
If not. I'm thinking up geared Burlington. Down South/Covey, up back side of Steele and over to 219. Down 219 and continue. Cross dam, up east river, down west river. Home.
Add or subtract as needed for daylight.
Regardless, all should arrive in parking lot at 5:45 so we can roll promptly at 6.
Proposed ride sounds good to me. Are we still meeting in the Canton commuter lot on Wednesdays? (Ride calendar for August says otherwise, I think).
Great ride last night!! Ride route worked out perfect relative to level of effort vs daylight. I propose we use this route for the remainder of August. 6pm start time should be fine for next week but may need to alter for the end August rides. .....and yes I have looked at calendar. It does say start at dam but we are not doing that. We will continue to start at commuter lot. (I'm such a rebel)
