Friday Wingbiter???
It came to my attention this weekend that Chatterly's has closed it's doors. The rumor is that another business will be moving in but I did not get a timeline. Figures, I finally stopped referring to it as "Yesterday's Cafe" but I imagine this development has rocked the very foundation of the Wingbiter ride.
Here's a thought, Brewery Legitimus is looking to meet and engage more with the local cycling community. Expect to see a few of their growlers at the fall picnic on the 30th. They are open on Friday evenings until 10PM and you can bring food. So maybe pizza order from Portobellos washed down with a pint(s) of Legitimus? Pretty sure they also have chicken wings. I'd show up for that. Pat
Friday night's Wingbiter on 9/22 will leave, as always, from the parking lot behind the New Hartford town hall at 6 pm. Here's the route. Afterward, we'll take Pat's recommendation and go to Brewery Legitimus. I can order pizza from Michel Angelo's across the street. If you plan to attend, post here so I know how much pizza to order. Charge your lights!!!
I'm doing a UTC charity ride on Friday. I might skip the night ride, but am definitely in for pizza and beer.
I won’t be able to make this Friday. But Legitimus is great way to go for a new base of operations. And shameless plug- my band will be playing there Oct 6th rain or shine, ride or not, so mark it in your calendars!
I've got a nose full of snot, but so far I'm planning on riding.
Some of us are still still in Italy enjoying lots of riding and tons of food. See everyone next week.
