CP Ride - A distance for everyone - Saturday, 5-9-15, 9:00am
If "Happy Mother's Day, see you later, I'll be riding my bike all day" won't work for you on Sunday, we'll offer the below rides on Saturday. Strickly CP pace. A distance for everyone.
We'll all be together to the top of Sandy Brook where those that want to head back will do so. At the North Green, we'll separate again, one group going around the lake, the other up the Campbell Falls way.
9:00 am, behind the Town Hall in New Hartford.
Sandy Brook: 27.4 miles, 1211' http://ridewithgps.com/routes/7784766
Doolittle Lake: 38.2 miles, 1958' http://ridewithgps.com/routes/7785539
Campbell Falls: 58.4 miles, 3901' http://ridewithgps.com/routes/7785414
Many of you know the area out there better than I do. Please look over the route and let us know if anything needs changing.
Thanks, Walt Sandy Brook Doolittle Lake Campbell Falls
Walt, To be true to your post title I may show up for the start and ride over to Dunkin Donuts, at CP of course :) Pat
Thanks for posting some routes Walt.
If my health is back I am definitely interested in the ride out to the Great Glen Campbell Falls. I had no idea he had his own falls!
We will ride like Rhinestone Cowboys on Saturday!
Routes look good Walt !
Jim, if you're going to post a photo of Glen Campbell, at least do one of him with an Ovation guitar, hand-made in New Hartford, CT.
Thanks John, but all the credit goes to Lew who designed those beautiful routes for us. No traffic, great scenery from start to finish. A couple more like that and winter will be just a distant memory.
