CANCELLED - Thursday (11/12) Off-road Night Ride (CP) - New Hartford
Time: 6:30 pm
Location: New Hartford Center (parking lot behind the police station - same location as the dumpster ride)
What the hell is this? Off-road cyclocross ride featuring the dirt roads around New Hartford, Canton, Collinsville, Burlington, etc. For those of you with inadequate bicycle inventories, a mountain bike will do. Rides will be mostly dirt roads and quiet back roads and can be fairly hilly. No single-track or mountain bikey stuff.
What to bring: Headlights, tail lights, cycling clothing appropriate for colder weather, change of clothes for the possibility of a post-ride beverage.
Route: We'll figure something out.
Winter pace will be strictly enforced
watching the weather as chance of rain is forecasted
If tonight's ride, too, is rained out and you're anxious to get on your bike, remember: EBCC hosts another weekly ride on Friday night!
