Folks have requested that we stay at Saturday so that's what we'll do. The ride for the coming weekend is planned for Saturday from the Old Saybrook RR Station. This is a 40 mile loop with 1,800’ of climbing. Most of that climbing is from mile 22 - 30, but nothing over 5%. The rest of the route is pretty benign. Pit stops can be made in Clinton, and Ivoryton so bring enough water and snack for 30 miles, i.e. 2 bottles. I’d like to start at 9:30 am. Park in the RR lot. I’ll try and be there early to point to the right area. I don’t want to interfere with either the RR or the shop’s parking, but there is plenty of extra space. Lunch will be enroute in Ivoryton before we head back to Old Saybrook.
