"C" Ride for Sat 9/8 or Sun 9/9
I'll be away this week so won't be able to finalize anything until Friday 9/7 so I'll let folks know where and when then. I'm waiting on the weather. Depending on conditions the ride will start from either Old Lyme or from Westfield. The routes and climbing are pretty similar. 45-50 miles and 1600' -1800' of climbing. I may tweak them a bit later. I'm finding that shore weather and inland weather can be quite different despite their proximity. 'Till then. D
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28511640 I just checked the weather for this coming weekend. Therefore, I'm planning on riding from Westfield to Northampton and environs this coming Saturday. We'll leave from the rail trail parking lot off Shaker Rd in Westfield (Southwick?) @ 9:30. You get to the parking lot by going into the parking lot for Shaker Farms Golf Club and then going right and follow the signs. It should be cool for the ride so check the weather.
