https://ridewithgps.com/routes/25225118 Time to play hooky! The weather is supposed to be in the mid 60’s. The foliage will be at peak from the CT River Valley to the hills around Grafton, VT. The ride is 65 miles and about 3,200’ of climbing. I know it is a work day. Do we live to work, or do we work to live? I know, I’m retired. I just won’t miss a day like this. I can give one or 2 folks a ride. I’ll leave from West Hartford @ 7:30 am. I can pick up a rider at the Windsor Locks RR platform if that works for somebody. We’ll leave from the covered bridge on RT 30 just north of Brattleboro @ 9:30. It should take about 90 minutes of driving, including a quick stop at the Doughnut Dip at exit 13A off I-91. My usual "C" pace with stops for photos.
