Blessing of the Bicycles Ride & Lunch-postponed to next Sat., May 13th

Hi Everyone! I am a cycling enthusiast who rides with Royal Screw Velo Club and Valley Cycling Group. I'm also a pastor of a local church who has done Blessings of the Mounts for the Horse Council, so 3 years ago I thought, "why not a Blessing of the MECHANICAL Mounts"! Sooooo, Here we are.....

Blessings of the Bicycles Saturday, May 6th, 8am West Granby United Methodist Church 87 Simsbury Road West Granby CT 06090

Come for an ecumenical blessing! Pastor will offer a brief prayer for a safe and prosperous riding season.

Go for a Bike Ride! Grab some granola bars and a Sports drink (provided) and join us for a ride.

Two rides options are available: Road Bike Ride (30-40 miles at a moderate pace with regrouping as necessary) Greenway Bike Ride (Laid back cruise to Massachusetts and back 15-20 miles with stops)

Stay for a Meal! Post-Ride Luncheon served, free of charge. Event should conclude around noon.

Hope to see you there! For more info, contact Pastor Peter Preiser (860) 970-5695 petrospaulos@hotmail.com

I think my bike is Catholic (it's from Italy), is that OK?

Is the pope Catholic?! Absolutely you are welcome , especially if your bike is a Pinarello!

Hi Pastor Pete. The event sounds good. Do you happen to be related to Tim, the tree man, Preiser?

Tim's my little brother... how do you know him?

In reply to RePete

Ha! I play in the band with him at The Barn

Very cool!
