Another hot and muggy day, but at least we create our own breeze as we ride. If there are any threats of storms, I will post an update at 4:30PM. Get those lights charged (sunset 8:02PM)...and see you later...stay hydrated.

The departure is the 'usual' as we head north. We will take Holcomb to Barndoor Hills and pick up the newly paved Simsbury Rd. to take us to Rt 20. Considering the heat, I've incorporated the climb to East Hartland (Rt. 20) as it can be 'steady' without the challenge of steepness. As we regroup in East Hartland, we'll head towards Lost Acres Rd. for a fun descent and then head East on East St. to Notch/Hungary and then Griffin. We will then do a little zig-zag to get us onto Mechanicsville to Rt 189and then left onto Creamery Hill. After a jaunt up Creamery Hill, we'll continue back via Day St. to Simsbury Rd./Barndoor Hills/Holcomb and Old Farms.
