How about that rain? Well, today seems like we will have the same considerations of the afternoon rains/possible thunderstorms. A post will be made by 5PM with any weather related updates. Get those lights charged as sunset is 7:53PM.

Jeff will lead the charge this evening, and I will miss riding with you all. The route will mix a little of the familiar and head towards Canton to New Hartford via Steele Rd and return by coming back on Rt 44 to Indian Hill to Rt 179 and Rt 309. The route has a gentle climb up Woodchuck and down Sexton Hollow to Lawton and then the bike path. The next gentle climb is Torrington Ave. in Canton, across the reservoir, and on to Rt. 202. From there, you'll head to Steele Rd...a little more fatiguing than the rest of the climbs, but worth the descent into New Hartford. Instead of heading directly back on Rt. 44, the ride will cross Rt. 44, staying on Rt. 219 to then get back to Rt. 44 via Black bridge Rd and Wickett Street. Once on Rt. 44 and heading east again, the next climb is Indian Hill which will take you up and over to Rt 179 where you'll head north, take a left onto Barbourtown to West Rd, back onto 179 and then returning on Rt. 309. I'll leave it to Jeff make any changes as necessary, but have a great and safe ride.

Also, there has been talk about riding into September and trying to begin at 5:30PM. Please let me know if you are interested. Otherwise, when I return from my college road trip delivery, we'll have a wrap up ride and go out afterwards. I'll be following up on that topic.
