It's gonna be another hot one, with the possibility of some afternoon storms. Check back to learn of any ride updates at 4:30PM. This ride is an attempt to have less climbing. We'll be patient with the rough road of Mort Vining and enjoy the rest of the ride. Hope to see you there!

The ride heads north the usual way, but we will cut across Creamery (off of Day) to pick up Wells Road to continue north on Mort Vining. This will take us to Vining HIlls where we will head east towards West Suffield. Our return brings us down Copper Hill to Newgate, Holcomb, Rt 189 to Tarriffville. As we head back to Simsbury on Quarry and Terry's Plain Rd., don't forget to make the turn onto Riverside Dr. in order to pick up Owen's Brook, which will meander us back to Great Pond and then Old Farms Rd.

It will surely be a warm one, so make sure hydration is good, allowing for some type of electrolyte drink and water. Also...don't forget those blinky lights.
