Sunset is getting to be on the earlier side of 8:30pm, so I'm going to take advantage of it. It may be a little warm, but most of the climbing will be in the shade. It's nice to venture towards the roads outside of the Simsbury/Granby areas, so here we go!

The ride begins by taking us up Woodchuck to then come down North Mtn...then back up Rt 179 to Hillcrest. As we cruise down Rt 219 to cross the reservoir and the gorgeous views, we'll take a right up Beech Rock and then swing back around to have the gradual climb up Goose Green. From there, we have a fun descent into New Hartford, to then grind away up Steele and then down to Rt 202, across the Nepaug Damn back into Canton. East Hill to Bahre Corner, then Gracey to Woodchuck will wrap it up on a good descent towards our starting point.

Hydrate and have your blinky lights ready for a great ride. (If the weather is insanely hot, modifications can always be made as a group decision.)
