4/14 - 50mi Gravel Ride
I'm planning to get some decent gravel miles in this coming Saturday and figured I'd put my plans out here in the event that anyone wanted to join me!
Right now I'm shooting to leave East Hartland at 9am and follow this route: G4 Route
The route is a favorite of many local riders and features 8 sectors of gravel totaling 27.4 miles. I'm not looking to tear my legs off, but the pace will be steady so plan on 4.5 to 5 hours. We'll make a quick stop at Maple Corner Farm to pickup some maple-y fuel for the ride and probably stop at the gas station in Otis on the return trip for the final boost to get us home.
If anyone is interested let me know so that I can head out to Berg Field to meet you instead of just taking off into the woods by myself!
Very interested but I'm booked taking my kids to an Opening Day fishing derby in the AM. Please keep us posted on your adventures.
Not sure I can make it this Saturday, but I have a copyright on that route. Don't forget to send me the royalty check.
I also would like to go but this isn't a good weekend for me. Just sayin'.
We need to convince Dinosore to lead a Simsbury mixed surface ride, too. Please.
